Short version: Slay the Gray is a free personal-use app. Use it to track your minis. All your data is yours — we never touch it.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Slay the Gray (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Slay the Gray is a personal productivity app for hobbyist miniature painters. It allows users to track their model collection, log painting sessions, manage a paint library, and monitor personal progress through streaks and statistics. The App operates entirely on-device with no server-side components. An optional Google Drive backup feature is available, which requires Google Sign-In and uses your Drive's private app storage.

All data you create within the App is stored locally on your device. You retain full ownership and control of your data. We have no access to it, and it is never transmitted to us or any third party.

If you choose to use the optional Google Drive backup feature, your data will be written to your personal Google Drive appdata folder — a private, app-specific storage area that only Slay the Gray can access. We do not access, read, or store this data on our own servers. Your Google credentials are handled entirely by Google's authentication systems and are never seen or stored by us.

You are responsible for maintaining access to any backup you create. We cannot recover data lost due to device failure, app deletion, revoked Google access, or any other cause.

5. Intellectual Property

The Slay the Gray name, logo, and original application code are the property of the developer. All miniature, brand, and product names referenced within the app (e.g. Citadel, Vallejo, Games Workshop) are trademarks of their respective owners. Slay the Gray is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these companies.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App, including loss of data.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
